How Mazzye's Meats Built a Full Digital Storefront for the Best Meat Market in Central New York

Mazzye's Meats is a locally owned Liverpool butcher shop with a huge, fresh-daily selection. I built a rich, browsable website that shows off every product category, highlights the deli and customer favorites, and drives calls and holiday orders.

The Challenge

Mazzye's Meats had earned a loyal following as one of Central New York's best butcher shops, with a huge selection of fresh, locally sourced meats, made-to-order subs, and prepared favorites. But that depth was invisible online.

A great butcher shop lives and dies by what's fresh and available today. Customers needed a way to browse the full range, see the favorites, and know they could call ahead, especially for large and holiday orders.

The shop also wanted to keep regulars in the loop on specials and sales, and make it dead simple to place an order by phone.

What I Built

I built a website that works like a full digital storefront, with a browsable product catalog, a showcase for the deli and customer favorites, an alerts signup, and call-to-order paths everywhere.

Complete product catalog organized into ten shoppable categories
Customer-favorites section spotlighting wings, smoked ribs, and pot pies
Dedicated fresh-made subs / Boar's Head deli feature
Click-to-call ordering on every relevant section
Email and SMS signup for specials and sales alerts
Holiday and large-order 'call ahead' prompts
Store location, map directions, and live open/closed hours
Fast, mobile-first build for customers shopping on the go

A Closer Look at the Site

1Storefront-style homepage

The homepage greets Liverpool with the shop's personality, live hours, click-to-call, and directions, then immediately surfaces customer favorites like the wings, smoked ribs, and pot pies people come back for.

2Full product catalog

A browsable catalog broken into ten categories: Beef & Veal, Poultry, Pork & Lamb, Sausage, Seafood, Specialty, Produce, Local Products, Alcohol, and Gift Cards. Detailed cut listings let customers see the real depth of selection.

3Deli and fresh-made subs

A dedicated section for the made-to-order Boar's Head sub program explains the quality difference and invites customers to stop by the deli counter, a high-margin, high-loyalty part of the business.

4Specials and holiday ordering

An email and SMS alerts signup keeps regulars informed about deals, while clear 'call to order ahead' prompts drive the large and holiday orders that matter most to the shop's bottom line.

5Find-and-visit details

Location, map directions, phone, and live hours are always within reach, turning online browsers into in-store customers.

The Results

Mazzye's now has an online presence that finally reflects the size and quality of the shop, letting Central New York families browse the full selection before they ever walk in.

Click-to-call ordering and holiday prompts channel that interest straight into phone orders, including the big-ticket holiday and custom orders.

The specials and sales alerts give the shop a direct line to its most loyal customers, keeping Mazzye's top of mind week after week.

Mazzye's Meats is one of the businesses I've worked with around Syracuse and Central New York. If you're in the area and want results like these, see my web design for Syracuse businesses page for how I approach local projects.
